Tired of Your RV’s Front End Looking Moldy or Worn?

We replace aging Diamond Shield with a sleek, color-matched coating that looks great and lasts.

If your RV’s front cap has started to peel, mold, or turn black from years of dirt and grime under the Diamond Shield, you’re not alone.

At Holland RV, we specialize in safely removing the old film and refinishing the front of your camper with a color-matched paint protection that’s easy to clean and built to last—without the hassle of replacing PPF again.

What’s Happening to My Diamond Shield (PPF)?

Diamond Shield and similar PPF films are common on campers and RVs, but over time, they can trap moisture, dirt, and mold underneath, leading to unsightly black streaks, bubbling, and peeling

Once this starts, it only gets worse. Trying to replace the film can be expensive, time-consuming, and doesn’t prevent the problem from happening again.

OUR SOLUTION

A Better, Longer-Lasting Alternative

We completely remove the damaged film and apply a specially formulated, color-matched paint protective coating to the front cap of your RV.

This isn’t a rough truck bed liner—it’s a smooth, professional-grade finish that:

  • Matches your RV’s color closely
  • It is easy to wash and maintain
  • Protects against chips, sun, and grime
  • Doesn’t need replacing like PPF

Frequently Asked Questions

What to know before replacing your Diamond Shield.

What causes Diamond Shield to turn black or peel?

Over time, Diamond Shield (PPF) can trap moisture, dirt, and road grime beneath the surface. This buildup creates mold or mildew, which causes streaks, bubbling, and eventual peeling. It’s a common issue on many campers after a few years on the road.

Can color-matched bed liner be repaired if it gets damaged?

Yes, it can. While the coating is highly durable and built to withstand the elements, accidents can happen. If the front cap gets chipped or scratched, we can perform localized touch-ups to restore the finish. Since the material is color-matched, repairs blend in well and don’t require full re-application like traditional PPF or paint.

Is the bed liner finish rough like a truck bed?

Not at all. While we use bed liner material for durability, the finish is smooth, professional, and color-matched to blend with your RV’s original paint. It enhances the look, not takes away from it.

How close can you match the color to my RV?

We color match as closely as possible to your RV’s existing paint using high-quality pigments and materials. Most customers are surprised by how seamless and polished the finished look is.

How do I maintain the new front cap finish?

It’s super low maintenance—rinse with water or use mild soap and a soft brush. Unlike PPF, our coating doesn’t trap mold or grime and won’t peel, crack, or need replacing every few years.

Mr Chris Holland of Holland RV provides exceptional road side assistance with a very competitive price. On 2 March (Sunday) I was traveling from Cordele GA to Statesboro GA towing my Grand Design 5th Wheel. Two miles from my destination a passerby told me of a smoking wheel. After safely pulling over discovered my bearing failed almost to the point of the wheel falling off. After calling around to multiple closed repair shops I received one message from Coastal Truck and Trailer repair stating he did not provide road side assistance but I should call Holland RV. Mr Holland immediately responded and after a few brief discussions and text messages and pictures he told me that when the parts shops opened the next morning he would drive the 45 minutes one way to do the repair. True to his word, he arrived with the part, quickly made the repairs and I was able to drive the 2 miles to my camp site. Mr Holland was a God send!
